The Art of Time Change

This printable art project asks 6th–8th graders to create artwork that represents how time changes during daylight savings time. Students draw scenes using color and detail to show contrast—such as day versus night, spring versus fall, or before-and-after scenes of daily life. Students also write 3–5 sentences explaining their artwork. Works well for interdisciplinary social studies and art units, creative projects, or portfolio work.
