About:
This printable worksheet asks 9th graders to critically analyze a flawed psychology experiment on background music and student concentration. Students identify the research question, variables, control and experimental groups, and describe the experimental design. Part B focuses on recognizing ethical violations including informed consent, deception, and participant protection. Part C challenges students to explain why deception might be used and how ethics affect research validity.
