About:
This printable project asks students in Grades 6–10 to create two playlists and explain their choices in writing. The first playlist reflects a personal mood the student listens to regularly; the second is created for someone else with a specific mood in mind. Students list 6–7 songs per playlist and provide at least 12–14 sentences of reasoning for their choices. Useful for music units that explore mood and emotion, or as a cross-curricular activity combining music and writing.
