This printable art and creative-writing activity for Grades 1–5 combines drawing and sentence completion. Students create their own monster and use sentence starters to describe its name, what it likes, what it eats, and one additional fun fact. Works well as a beginning-of-year creative project, a paired art-and-literacy activity, or a stand-alone imaginative-writing prompt.
