About:
This in-class statistics assignment asks students in grades 9–11 to collect real data on classmates' daily phone screen time, calculate the five-number summary (minimum, Q1, median, Q3, maximum), and draw a proportional box and whisker plot. Students then analyze the data to identify range, median, quartiles, and outliers, and apply findings to interpret how screen time may affect teen sleep and academic performance. Graded out of 10 marks; due at the end of class.
