  • When Pinocchio got home from school, Geppetto was surprised by his long nose
  • "Oh, Pinocchio! What happened to your nose?" Geppetto said
  • Pinocchio looked in the mirror. He looked sad. Geppetto felt sad too
  • "Come with me," Geppetto said. "I have something to cheer you up."
  • "A swing!" For me?" Pinocchio said. Geppetto nodded
  • Pinocchio jumped on the swing. He forgot that he was sad.
  • When Pinocchio finished playing on the swing, Geppetto had a delicious pizza waiting for him
  • After he finished eating, Pinocchio opened his schoolbook
  • "I made a mistake in math today," Pinocchio said.
  • "We will work on your math together," Geppetto said."
  • "Well, it's time for bed, my little wooden son," said Geppetto when they were finished
  • Pinocchio did not sleep well. His nose kept bumping into the wall
  • The next morning, Pinocchio saw a beautiful blue velvet jacket and a yellow hat on his chair.
  • "For me?" he said. Geppetto nodded. "Thank you papa," Pinocchio said."
  • At school, sofia said, How is the prince of Prince forest today?"
  • Pinocchio shook his head. "I made up those stories," he said.
  • "I am not a prince, and I don't live in a castle with 68 rooms."
  • "Why did you lie?" Lorenzo asked. "Because I wanted you to be my friends."
  • "I wanted you to think I was important, and not just a little wooden boy," Pinocchio said.
  • "But I do have my own Pony. A wooden pony named Prince." The other children laughed.
  • Pinocchio rubbed his nose. It was definitely getting smaller. And my father is better than a king."
  • After school, Pinocchio ran to Geppetto and hugged him. "Thank you
  • "I am the luckiest boy in the world. I love you, papa."
  • Geppetto kissed Pinocchio on his wooden cheek. But the cheek was warm and soft
  • And that is the story of how Pinocchio learned to love and became a real boy
